Warranty & Terms

At Nore Jewelry, we believe in complete transparency with our clients. Below is an overview of our policies regarding care, damage, deposits, and warranty coverage.

Types of Damage

Incidental Wear & Tear

Minor wear can occur naturally over time with regular use. This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Light scratches or dents in metal
  • Small stone chips
  • Missing pavé stones
  • Loose prongs
  • Rhodium plating fading
  • Slight head tilting
  • Minor band reshaping

These types of changes are common with everyday wear and can usually be repaired.

Purposeful or Excessive Damage

Major damage caused by improper care or excessive force is not covered under warranty. Examples may include:

  • Severely misshapen bands
  • Broken or severed bands or settings
  • Broken prongs
  • Damage requiring a full setting recast

To protect your jewelry, we recommend removing your piece during:

  • Sleeping
  • Working out or sports activities
  • Showering, swimming, or water activities
  • Manual labor or strenuous tasks
  • Contact with chemicals, cleaning solutions, or harsh environments

Following these precautions will help maintain the beauty and longevity of your piece.

Hold & Deposit Agreement

This agreement outlines the terms under which Nore Jewelry (“the Company”) may hold an in-stock stone or jewelry item (“the Item”) for a client (“Client”).

By submitting a deposit, the Client agrees to the following terms.

Hold Periods

  • Nore Jewelry offers a complimentary 24–48 hour hold on all in-stock stones.
  • Stones sourced specifically for a client cannot be placed on hold.
  • A 20% deposit allows the Company to hold the item for:
    • Up to 7 days, or
    • Up to 14 days for high-value pieces, at the Company’s discretion.

Deposit Terms

  • If the Client completes the purchase, the deposit will be applied toward the final balance.
  • If the Client decides not to proceed with an in-stock item, the deposit is fully refundable.
  • Once a stone has been sourced specifically for a Client and the order is confirmed, that deposit becomes non-refundable. This is because the stone has been procured on the Client’s behalf and cannot be resold as in-stock inventory.
  • If the hold period expires and the Client does not provide a decision or becomes unresponsive:
    • The full deposit converts to non-refundable store credit.

Store credit does not extend or restart the hold period.

Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate contact information
  • Communicate a final decision within the agreed hold period

Company Discretion

Nore Jewelry reserves the right to decline, limit, or extend a hold based on demand, item value, or other internal considerations.

Our Warranty

We stand behind every piece we make, and our warranty is designed to give you real peace of mind for as long as you own it.

Phase One: 1 Year of Unlimited Coverage

From the moment your piece arrives, you’re covered. For a full year after delivery, we’ll repair any issues related to normal wear and tear — completely free of charge. No fine print, no surprise fees. This coverage begins on the date your piece is received and excludes damage caused by purposeful or excessive misuse (see Types of Damage above).

Phase Two: Lifetime Repairs, At Cost — For Life

Your coverage doesn’t end after year one. From that point forward, for as long as you own your piece, we’ll continue to repair it at cost — meaning you only ever pay for the actual repair, with no markup and no profit added on our end. This phase begins the moment your first-year unlimited warranty ends, so there’s never a gap in coverage.

Keeping Your Warranty Intact

To make sure we can always stand behind our work, any repair, resizing, or modification performed by an outside jeweler will void the Nore Jewelry warranty. Outside work can affect the integrity of the setting or stones, and we can’t guarantee craftsmanship we didn’t perform ourselves. The good news: our team is always just an email away and happy to take care of any repair, adjustment, or question that comes up.

Warranty Eligibility

This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the piece. Jewelry purchased through resale or transferred ownership is not covered under the Nore Jewelry warranty.
